Wedding Venue

Anchor Village

Anchor Village sits in the river hills of Clarion County, an event venue built inside a building more than a century old. Ceremonies happen at the gazebo or out on the open lawn, and the reception moves into an industrial hall — metal beams, high ceilings, white brick walls and tall factory windows that carry daylight a long way into the room. The contrast between the two is the useful part: an outdoor ceremony in open country, then a hard-edged interior that looks nothing like it. The setting is genuinely rural, so a wide frame stays clean, and the drive from Pittsburgh is a little over ninety minutes.

Pick a day and I'll work out the light for it — sunset here, when golden hour opens, and the ceremony time that puts you inside it.

Sunset times are calculated for this venue's coordinates, shown in EDT for the 15th of each month in 2026. Golden hour is the 60 minutes before sunset. The ceremony start is my rule of thumb — about 2 hours before sunset, so a short ceremony and family photos still leave the two of you in golden light. Adjust it to your own timeline. Average temperatures and rainfall are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from CLARION 3 SW, 4.4 miles away.
