The Carnegie Science Center sits on the north shore of the Ohio, four floors of exhibits with PointView Hall as the wedding space — a glass-walled room looking straight across the water at the Pittsburgh skyline. PointView holds 220, and the building takes up to 275 seated across its spaces. Guests get the exhibit floors to themselves, which does more for a drinks reception than any amount of styling. The view is the reason to book it, and it peaks in the half hour after sunset, when the city lights come up and the glass stops throwing reflections back into the room. The centre was renamed the Kamin Science Center in 2024.
