KIND WORDS

Rob was an absolute dream to work with. He made us feel completely at ease every time we met or talked. He fit in with our wedding crew and honestly just felt like a friend there celebrating with us all day. The sneak peeks that we have seen are AMAZING. He completely captured everything I envisioned the day would be. He’s incredibly talented and I can’t recommend his work enough.

Emily Robinson

I absolutely loved this photographer! He was personable, made my special day absolutely relaxing and not stressful. He was able to create beautiful wedding pictures that will last a lifetime! My favorite thing about him is he wanted to get to know my husband and I’s love story and our families. I loved getting to know him as a person as well as a photographer.

Abby Stadler

Rob made our engagement pictures such a special and memorable experience, I couldn’t have picked a more perfect person for this job. Rob made our visions and dreams come true and was such a great time!

Jordan Toner

We really enjoyed working with Rob. He was a second shooter at our wedding and we are so incredibly thankful he was there. He captured really amazing photos of our wedding that day that we will forever cherish. He is professional and his personality is very welcoming. He was in charge of the groom and groomsmen getting ready shots and his results made my group look like they were walking right out of a magazine! We enjoyed working with him and very pleased with his work. 10/10 recommend!

Barbara Kelminsky

We had an amazing experience with Rob! He was very easy to communicate with and had some really unique ideas that turned out fantastic. He is a very talented photographer and we can’t wait to use him again in the future!

Where I photograph

Florida, the Carolinas,
and wherever the day takes us

I'm based in Miami and shoot across Florida — the Keys, the Gulf Coast, Orlando, Palm Beach, the Panhandle — and up through North and South Carolina. Most weekends involve a drive or a flight, and I plan for that: scouting the light, checking what the weather usually does that month, and building the timeline backwards from sunset.

Along the way I've researched 166 venues across those regions and written up what matters for photographs at each one — which way the sun sets, where the shade falls, what the rain does in August. That research is free to use, whether you book me or not.

Planning around the light

The timeline follows the sun

The single biggest thing you can do for your photographs costs nothing: start the ceremony at the right time. In Florida that shifts by nearly three hours across the year — a January sunset in Homestead is at 5:52 PM, a June one at 8:14 PM. Book a 5 PM ceremony in January and the light is gone before the reception; book the same time in June and you have hours of it.

My rule of thumb is to start about two hours before sunset. A half-hour ceremony plus family formals then puts the two of you alone together in the last of the light, rather than chasing it after dinner.

Every venue page on this site works that out for you — sunset, golden hour and a suggested ceremony start for each month of the year, calculated from that venue's own coordinates, alongside the average temperature and rainfall for the month you're considering.

QUESTIONS

FAQ

Everything the collection lists — the coverage, the editing, the private gallery and the consultation are all in the figure, not billed afterwards. A second photographer, an album, an engagement session and travel are add-ons on Essential and are included further up the range; each is priced openly when you open a collection, so nothing appears on an invoice you have not already seen.
